An absolutely stunning vehicle in all departments and one we are very proud to offer for sale. This bus has undergone a restoration that involved the vehicle being stripped down to bare metal. All required panels were replaced inside and out to ensure the metalwork was in superb order before the vehicle was primed and painted in an iconic and popular colour scheme; Black over Porsche Guards Red.
The metalwork on this bus is all in superb order far superior now than it would have been when it left the Hannover factory in 1965. The underside of the bus has been protected with Waxoyl to ensure that the metalwork has protection from rust development.
Ultimate mechanical specification includes a reconditioned 1776cc Engine running on Twin 34pct Carburettors. This is in our opinion the best engine setup you can run on a Split Screen providing plenty of power without venturing away too much from original style German engineering.
Independent Rear Suspension installed allowing for superior ride quality. Folksy Height Adjuster. Front Disc Brake conversion with brake servo upgrade allowing for superb braking performance.
