Supplied new on 24th June 1969 by Headway Motors Ltd, UK. This car is a genuine German built and UK supplied vehicle in factory RHD format. The car still has its original service book from new which is stamped meticulously from the first service on 24th June 1969 at 7 miles (delivery service) all the way through the decades. A total of 46 stamps in the book! This is without any doubt the best Karmann Ghia we have ever had in stock and we have personally carried out a full comprehensive restoration of the car including stripping it down to bare metal and respraying the car in its original VW Chromeblau colour as can be confirmed by the original paint sticker that is unbelievably still intact under the bonnet! We have been very careful to retain the original interior, headliner and dashboard of the car as not to over restore it and provide that perfect balance between old and new. The door shuts and windows are like factory and the car still has its original engine that has been stripped down with all new seals, checked over and run on the bench and all original ancillaries cleaned and freshly serviced.
