A superb example of a Bay Window bus having been owned locally to us for the past 8 years. The previous lady owner has meticulously cared for the bus throughout her ownership and has kept a comprehensive record of works carried out throughout the years. There are receipts dating back to 1986 and even the original stamped service record is still present showing all of the dated stamps going back to 1978 when the bus had its first ‘running in service’. This is the first time we have ever seen this.
Receipts detailing restoration work including replacement of all required panels to ensure the vehicle is rust free throughout. Beautiful gleaming paintwork. Pop Top roof featuring replacement canvas and twin bunks for children to sleep upstairs. Sunroof retrofitted to the front for additional comfort on hot summers days.
Reconditioned engine runs very well and the gearbox pulls well in every gear. Fire extinguisher / suppression system installed in engine bay.
Original Devon interior in very good condition for its age and benefitting from a complete rewire of internal electrics in 2016. ¾ Width Rock n’ Roll bed, fridge, sink, double gas burner etc.
