Extensively restored to a very high standard and finished in Porsche Aubergine paint complimented by Neil Melliard flames and pin-striping. Biscuit trim interior in superb condition. Ultimate mechanical specification including a 2,007cc engine built by Paul Miller at Harry Harpics, who have been renowned for decades for their high standard of VW workmanship. Engine spec includes Rimco machined case, ported and polished Mofoco cylinder heads, Chevy rods, performance crank, lightened flywheel, 123 electronic ignition distributor, deep oil sump, full flow oil cooler and breather system, Twin choke IDF 44 Weber Carburettors supplied by a fuel king regulator. Rancho Freeway Flyer gearbox with Kennedy stage 1 – 17lb clutch and Gene Berg shifter for precision gear change. High torque starter motor. Adjustable and narrowed front beam and CV dropped spindles. Kafer truss bar on rear with strengthened mid transmission mount. Pro-Tech adjustable dampers Genuine Porsche Fuchs (15X6J) allow wheels, with matching Yokohoma tyres. The rare original chrome windscreen trim is still present, sought after for its rarity amongst Karmann Ghia enthusiasts. Retrosounds radio with MP3 connection (styled to look like a period radio)..
