Austin Seven Two Door RM Box Saloon, 1931. Delightful example in Maroon with a black fabric roof. Original 747cc engine. Very original throughout and locally owned to us and the last owner bought the car from a farmer just a mile down the road from our garage who had it for 20 years. Great condition with solid metal floors under the carpets.
The previous owner drove it to his personal museum in Majorca in 2008 and then back to the U.K. in 2018. Both journeys were incident free and is testament to the reliability and robustness of this 91 year old vehicle (“they don’t make them like this anymore”).
This car has been recently sitting amongst a collection of classic motorcycles and comes out for car shows and the occasional wedding. Even has the original Bakelite radiator cap which is rare and a spare brass one for car shows! Original horse hair padding still in some of the seating and the 91 year old headliner is intact and in good condition.
Starts on the button and an absolute pleasure to drive. Comes fully serviced.
