Lotus Elan Sprint FHC, 1973. Tawny Bronze metallic over Cirrus White. Galvanised Lotus chassis. Fantastic condition throughout. Virtually blemish free paintwork having had all old paint removed to the gel-coat and a fresh respray to an exacting standard and superb original interior with correct instrumentation, Colin Chapman steering wheel etc. Engine, gearbox and differential rebuilt. Engine fully balanced and is extremely smooth and powerful. Brakes and steering are outstanding. High torque starter motor. This great example has a superb character and comes with a thick history file with bills going back to when it had its first 500 mile service (£3.29) by famous Lotus Dealers: J A Else & Son. 3,000 mile service (£20.60), 6,000 miles service (£39.27) etc. MOT certificates going back to 1976. Old tax discs and original Owner’s Handbook and original spare keys. Original tool roll. Full wheel removal tool kit. One of the best Sprint fixed-heads we have seen and driven.
