Lotus Elan Sprint DHC, 1973. Lovely example in rare monotone Carnival Red as confirmed by the Lotus Archivist. A genuine drop head sprint with all matching numbers. This is the 30th from last domestic drop-head Sprint and the second to last in the single colour Carnival Red. Goes really well and has a lovely original interior. Correct late Colin Chapman steering wheel. Superb lively engine with a throaty rasp and spot-on oil pressure and it runs at the correct temperature continuously. A really great Elan to drive. Serviced and MOT’d although MOT test exempt, as it the road tax fee.
