Lotus Elan+2S130/5.  1974 (manufactured 1973).   Stunning Lagoon Blue metallic with oatmeal interior and seats with cloth inserts.   The ultimate Elan Plus Two in this truly iconic colour and the most popular colour by far.  My first Plus Two in the Seventies was this colour.  It suits the car perfectly.  This example had a chassis-up rebuild a number of years ago and an engine freshen up a couple of years ago.  Having driven hundreds of Elan Plus Twos over 50 years, I can say that this is one of the best 5 Speed ones that I have ever driven.  The gearbox is smooth and precise and the engine pulls powerfully through the rev range and comes on song between 3,500-5,500rpm in particular.  The cabin condition is exemplary, with a fantastic leather-bound steering wheel and beautiful Smiths instruments in prime sparkling condition.  Comes with the original Owner’s Handbook and original Service Voucher Book which is particularly rare as they are mostly mislaid over the years.   A thoroughly recommended example which will come fully serviced and MOT’d.  Deliver can be arranged throughout the U.K.
