Lotus Elan+2S130/5 JPS Limited Edition. 1973. 67th of 115 ever made. Stunning example in this iconic John Player Special colour scheme which matched the current Lotus Formula 1 Grand Prix cars of the time. This is a genuine commemorative edition Elan Plus Two JPS as confirmed by the Lotus Archivist. Gleaming paintwork and superb oatmeal interior. Lovely original mirror veneer burr walnut dashboard with the correct instruments. The car was fully rebuilt from the chassis upwards a few years ago and repainted to an exacting standard at the same time. The rebuilt engine is very strong and free-revving and the rest of the car a sheer delight in terms of braking and steering as you would expect from a classic Lotus. Smooth 5 Speed gearbox. Comes fully serviced and MOT’d, even though it is exempt from requiring the annual test. Road tax fee exempt.
