Lotus Esprit GT3 Turbo, 1997. 19,700 miles from new!! Azure Blue metallic with Magnolia Leather piped in black (the only one in existence in the combination). Absolutely outstanding original condition throughout. Air Conditioning and removable ‘Targa’ roof. I was at the Lotus factory in 1997 watching a newly manufactured GT3 come off the production line and the condition of this fabulous example reminds me of that occasion. The aroma of the interior is reminiscent of that new Lotus I witnessed being born. Everywhere one looks on this car rings true, even down to the switchgear that has that unmarked “new” feel. Has to be one of the best preserved GT3s in existence. It drives impeccably in every department. The power steering is exceptional and matches the glowing reports in the press when the car was first launched. The GT3 is generally rated as the best Esprit in terms of refinement and with respect to the build quality. One of the best Esprits we have ever driven of this era.
