Lotus Esprit Turbo, 1985. Just a few hundred miles since full body off chassis restoration! Brings back the drama of James Bond’s FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. Absolutely stunning condition with brand new red leather interior as fitted at the factory over 30 years ago. Originally Monaco White with red leather as confirmed by the Lotus archives and comes with Certificate of Provenance. I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of the Esprit Turbo in 1980 and after a glass of champagne and a canapé we took out a number of brand new Esprits with only a few miles on the clock. I have driven this example today (26/05/17) for a mere 10 miles and it brought back the memories of 37 years ago and this car performed just like a new car as virtually everything has been renewed, refurbished and restored. The paintwork has been professionally finished to a very high degree of quality, as is the interior and everywhere you look: underneath, in the engine compartment etc. An absolutely stunning example, having taken over 12 months to restore and worth every penny spent. Needs a gentle running in for a 1,000 miles before it’s first service after the bedding-in period. Comes with the targa glass full width factory sunroof and original BBS alloys.
