Lotus Esprit Turbo, 1988. 49,900 miles. Claret Red metallic (rare) with full magnolia and mink colour leather interior.
Lotus Esprit Turbo, 1988. 49,900 miles. Claret Red metallic (rare) with full magnolia and mink colour leather interior. Air-conditioning and factory “targa” glass sunroof. Superb early model with the sills painted in Seal Grey. The first 243 Esprits had the grey sills and were all full specification of full leather, a/c and glass roof which can be removed and stowed in the rear luggage compartment and this is only one of 6 in Claret Red metallic. The paintwork is absolutely stunning with a superb finish and the magnolia leather is in meticulously kept condition. Original Lotus OZ alloys, glazed tailgate and Renault transmission. Drives superbly well and is a testament to how this Esprit has been cared for. Brand new tyres fitted and we have installed the Halogen headlamp conversion which means all four headlamps perform like a modern day vehicle. This is a very collectable and useable classic Esprit and takes me back to late 1988 when I bought a 3 month old one. This one looks as good now as it did then. Letter of authenticity and Certificate of Provenance from the Lotus Archives. The Lotus Esprit is due to appear on a Royal Mail postage stamp shortly, so expect even more interest in one of Lotus’s finest incarnations. Fully serviced with all new belts and fresh MOT. Good value at £24,995.
