Although not an exact copy of the 23B it has the spirit of the Lotus ethos when it came to building racing cars. Built for racing from a brand new road car (Tiger Racing ERA 30) in March, 2011.  Ford Motorsport 1800 Zetec engine and Webcon Alpha 3D management system with twin Weber 45DCOE producing a dependable 150+ bhp on the rolling road.  Mated to a traditional Hewkand Mk 9, 5 Speed gearbox with a collection of alternative ratios to suit various race circuits.  The much modified suspension is double wishbone at the front with reversed double wishbones and radius arms at the rear as per the original Lotus 23B. Specification can be read in the photo-text.  Raced successfully in the SR&GT Challenge which uses a a power to weight ratio for the different circuits, hence never taking the the engine above 150 bhp.   All road parts have been retained, so could be converted back to a road car if required.   A fantastic machine that is ready for the track.
