Volkswagen Beetle Sedan, 1965. One owner from 1965 – 2018. The original owner bought the vehicle new in Australia in 1965. When he retired from driving he parked the car in his garage and it was later imported into the UK in 2018. Meticulously cared from new having covered just 86,000 original miles in its life and having benefitted from an engine rebuild in Australia carried out by VW. Incredible original condition throughout in this very Sixties light green hue. This one has survived so well having been in Australia since new and is no doubt one of the best surviving Beetles we have seen in many years and would surely be a “hit” at classic cars shows as they are rarely seen in unrestored condition. An absolute joy to drive with the original feel of a Beetle that drives as well as it would have done decades ago. A very rare survivor and everywhere you look in the car resonates with the Sixties and how they used to look, even down to the original headlining. It will come with a new MOT, even though it is of course MOT exempt and is tax fee exempt as well, so a very economical classic to run. Fully serviced before delivery which we are currently offering at the moment.
